The day Dolly died, I headed an hour south of Nashville to Dolly’s Tennessean Travel Stop. Folks from nearby states had diverted their routes to remember her and shop for memorabilia. I captured photos and video used in social collaborations between WPLN and NPR and audio from my videos was used at the top of this NPR feature.
